SKIMS Beauty Taps Diarrha N'Diaye as Executive Vice President

“[N'Diaye] has an incomparable talent at marrying the emotional and tactical sides of beauty.” — Kim Kardashian

After Kim Kardashian teased the relaunch of SKIMS Beauty, the brand has officially announced its new executive vice president of beauty and fragrance: Diarrha N’Diaye, founder of Ami Colé. After cult-favorite beauty brand Ami Colé shut its doors this September, N’Diaye took to Instagram to assure her community that her beauty journey wasn’t coming to an end.

With over 14 years of brand building and product development, SKIMS Beauty cites N’Diaye’s robust experience as the reason for the partnership. In her new role, the beauty founder will lead product innovation and brand strategy. “SKIMS is for everybody, and now we’re trying to create beauty for everybody,” she says in a press release. “I’m excited to bring in best-in-class formulas and a customer-first mentality to SKIMS Beauty.”

After meeting with Kardashian and Jens Grede, CEO of SKIMS, N’Diaye says their energy clicked immediately. After bonding over their shared passion for beauty, the trio made plans to modernize our routines. Beyond that, N’Diaye also notes that she wants to do far more than “just introduce another product.”

“I want SKIMS Beauty to be a place where everyone feels represented, and there was no better person to help us do that than Diarrha,” Kardashian adds. “She has an incomparable talent at marrying the emotional and tactical sides of beauty, and her instincts and experience for innovation and authenticity will power our brand.”
