Saint Laurent and Havaianas Top This Quarter's LYST Index
With COS jumping four spots and Stone Island entering the top 10.
The latest LYST Index has landed, and it might just be the brand’s most surprising one yet. The latest Index analyzes consumer data from July to September, highlighting the hottest brands and items of the past quarter.
Previously, Miu Miu held the top spot on the hottest brands list, but this quarter, it appears to have been replaced by Saint Laurent, placing Miuccia Prada’s label in second place. Next, COS rises by an impressive four spots, coming in at number three. The list continues with The Row and Coach making up the rest of the top five, followed by Burberry, SKIMS, Stone Island and Ralph Lauren.
As always, the report also features three “Moving Fast” brands, or brands to watch, which currently include Nour Hammour, Nike and Madewell. Next, the Index showcases the 10 hottest products of the quarter, which we’ll dive into below.
2025 was undoubtedly the year of the flip-flop, so it’s hardly surprising to see havaianas in this quarter’s LYST Index, but taking the top spot is still pretty impressive. Likely a result of the sheer amount of flip-flops spotted on the streets during fashion week, particularly in Copenhagen, the humble slip-on was officially the most popular item of Q3.
2. Saint Laurent Le Loafer
Next up, it appears that we’re not falling out of love with loafers any time soon. Saint Laurent’s sleek “Le” silhouette comes in at number two, likely due to a growing affinity with the brand, along with a rising desire for minimal and timeless silhouettes.
3. COS Chunky Cashmere Sweater
COS is another surprising entry for the quarter, not only featuring in the Hottest Products list, but also entering the top 10 of Lyst’s Hottest Brands ranking. It’s not the first time we’ve seen a high-street label like COS in this list, and it won’t be the last, but still an impressive jump.
4. The Row Eel Loafer
Pretty much anything The Row touches turns to gold, and its latest take on the classic loafer is no exception. Potentially entering the top 10 due to a shift towards more elevated footwear, and perhaps, a fatigue surrounding hybrid, sneaker loafer silhouettes.
5. SKIMS Pierced Nipple Bra
SKIMS is pretty much a classic when it comes to the LYST Index, despite growing disdain for the KarJenner clan. The Pierced Nipple Push-up Bra was one of the brand’s more controversial launches, but received a fairly positive response from its consumers, which puts it at number five in the list.
6. Savette Slim Symmetry Pochette
Italian label Savette comes in at number six thanks to its Slim Symmetry Pochette bag, signalling a shift towards smaller bag styles and vibrant summer colorways.
7. Nike x Jacquemus Moon Shoe
The Moon Shoe from Jacquemus and Nike is another impressive entry, considering the shoe only launched in the last two months. So far, it seems to be one of the duo’s most successful footwear collaborations, with plenty more colorways still to come.
8. Nike Shox TL Sneakers
Similarly, Nike’s divisive Shox sneaker features in the top 10 this quarter, likely due to new collaborations from Martine Rose and a growing relationship between fashion, footwear and sport.
9. Polo Ralph Lauren Midi Dress
Ralph Lauren enters the hottest products list at number nine, with a classic striped midi dress that seemed to be a summer wardrobe staple.
10. Coach Soft Empire Carryall 48
Finally, Coach’s cool factor may have slowed down slightly, but it still features in the top 10 products list and comes in at number five in the hottest brands list — due to viral silhouettes and its successful team-up with the show of the year: The Summer I Turned Pretty.
