Adéla Slays the CFDAs in Marc Jacobs
The pop princess cements her fashion status.
Meet the industry’s newest pop princess, Adéla Jergová. Having only released her debut EP earlier this year, she has already booked a supporting spot on Demi Lovato’s upcoming tour and got her catchy tunes stuck in our heads. With her signature pink hair and known only by her mononym, her star status is already cemented.
The Slovakian singer initially got rejected from the girl group Katseye, but thanks to that, she’s now a superstar in her own right. Her music takes the “sex sells” mantra and runs with it in a way that matches her blunt humor. In her debut EP, The Provocateur, the track “Sex on the Beat” is accompanied by a video that sees the star appear to simulate an orgasm. Maybe turn the volume down on this one if you’re watching in public. Raunchy dance routines, brazen lyrics and eye-popping visuals bring back much of the subversive nature of pop from decades past.
Adéla’s not just owning the music world, though; she’s now proved herself in the fashion world too. This week the singer posed on the red carpet at the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards wearing a Marc Jacobs gown that was anything but quiet. Pulled straight from the designer’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection, the look was styled by Chris Horan, who has worked with the likes of Charli XCX and Demi Lovato. Giant puffy sleeves, piles of layers and plaid came together in a Victorian-meets-Punk ensemble topped off with the largest platform boots you ever did see.
