Nike and Jacquemus Reinvent the Moon Shoe

In three retro running-inspired colorways.

Nike and Jacquemus first teased their new footwear collaboration during the brand’s Fall/Winter 2025 runway show in Paris last year, and at long last, the official debut is finally here.

Revisiting Nike’s Moon Shoe silhouette, which originally launched in 1972 and was handcrafted by Bill Bowerman, the new release blends the brand’s sporting heritage with Jacquemus’s distinctive yet minimal aesthetic. Rooted in Nike’s racing DNA, the shoe is set to land in three new colorways, including black, dark red and “Pale Yellow 2.”

Each shoe features a low-top silhouette, crafted with a deconstructed upper and a co-branded “Gum Brown” waffle sole. Designed with retro-inspired Swooshes on each side, the shoes come complete with Jacquemus branding on the shoe’s tongue. The dark red and black iterations feature off-white Swooshes, while the yellow version features a contrasting black Swoosh.

While an official release date has yet to be confirmed, Jacquemus does currently feature the shoes on its website, with a “Coming Soon” button in place of its typical “Add to Cart” phrasing, suggesting they’ll be on their way pretty soon.

Take a look at the new colorways above and head to the Jacquemus website to purchase.
