New Era and Barcelona are Making Fitted Caps a Soccer Staple
Throwing fits on a matchday just got a lot easier.
FC Barcelona has just announced New Era as their official headwear partner, launching the partnership with an exclusive collection of caps for one of the biggest teams on the planet. Taking some of the brand’s most coveted styles and giving them a blaugrana remix, this is the perfect collaboration to rep the Barça set wherever you go.
Signature New Era cap silhouettes arrive in Barcelona’s burgundy and blue club colors, with an earthy off-white option for those monochromatic days. Four caps make up the collection, coming in bold color-block and minimalistic, Instagram-ready styles. Three of the hats are embroidered with Barça’s instantly recognizable crest, whilst the last one is a more subtle declaration of allegiance, with “Barça” stitched in white on a beige base.
Barcelona has taken fashion as seriously as their football recently, releasing some of the best kits of the last few years. An ongoing collaboration with Spotify has seen the club debut limited-edition jerseys with the signage of the music industry’s biggest names from Drake and Coldplay to Catalonia-raised Rosalía. A new formalwear partnership with AMIRI will have the team looking sharp on matchday, but this link up with New Era is for the fans. Barcelona are just the latest team to join forces with the brand, but this collab is one of the biggest of the year both parties.
