Loop’s Latest Limited-Edition Collab Is a Coachella Must-Have

A new desert-inspired design for the best sound experience.

Earplug brand Loop is without question a “IYKYK” brand. Their cool earplugs have become the worst-kept secret among live music fans for years, and this year they are teaming up with Coachella. Not only are they the festival’s first-ever official earplug partner, but they’ve also created a limited-edition drop aimed at elevating the live music experience even further.

The Belgium-based brand was born out of a desire to make earplugs cool. Founders and IRL best friends Maarten Bodewes and Dimitri O, thought of it after leaving one too many university parties with an annoying, high-pitched ringing in their ears. Bodewes started wondering why more people didn’t protect their hearing during concerts and gigs. More importantly, why weren’t there earplugs out there that people wanted to wear?

Fast forward to now, and Loop is making gear to protect your ears that isn’t just smart, but seriously stylish. The brand’s latest drop is inspired by the warm tones of the Californian sunset. It comes in a custom hue, complete with a matching case and, sold separately, a wearable cord.

The label’s innovative design uses passive noise reduction to bring down the volume, without muffling the music. They filter out 17dB (SNR) of background noise, letting you enjoy clear sound at a comfortable level. With a combination of an acoustic channel, a fine-tuned membrane filter and a mesh system that evenly reduces both high and low frequencies, the earplugs create a balanced listening experience, where every beat hits just right — minus the ear fatigue.

Loop and Coachella’s limited-edition release is available for purchase now on the brand’s official website. Browse the gallery above for a closer look.
