Rico Nasty Drops a Limited-Edition Hair Color With Good Dye Young

Introducing “Nasty.”

Hair color brand Good Dye Young, founded by Hayley Williams, has just unveiled the newest addition to its “Creator Colors” Collection: a limited-edition dye made in collaboration with Rico Nasty. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the duo is linking up to release “Nasty,” a vampy purple hair color directly inspired by the rapper’s punk-influenced artistry.

Described by the brand as “not indigo, not lavender, just unmistakable punk purple,” the new “Nasty” shade is said to be a love letter to both Rico Nasty’s dedicated fanbase and GDY’s community of loyal hair color fans and industry pros. When it comes to the partnership, the hair brand says they tapped Rico Nasty because of her punk-inspired aesthetic and bold creative expression — which both serve as core pillars of GDY’s individuality-first ethos.

Just like the rest of the brand’s semi-permanent hair colors, “Nasty” is clean, vegan and infused with non-toxic ingredients. The purple color won’t compromise your hair’s strength, plus it’s said to condition your hair like a mask thanks to strand-loving hydrolyzed rice protein, sunflower seed oil and glycerin.

“Nasty” retails for $19 USD and will be available for purchase on the brand’s website starting February 14.
