Mowalola Just Dropped Limited-Edition Skate Decks

Fresh off the heels of her KSUBI collaboration, London-based designer Mowalola returns with a new partnership for the skateboarding world.
In collaboration with THE SKATEROOM, the exclusive brand pushing out fire skate projects, Mowalola drops five new decks. Each with distinct prints and color ways, the collection continues her bold exploration of identity, sexuality and culture.
The release is accompanied by a gritty, yet sexy NY-coded campaign. The lead image features Ogunlesi leaning on a pay phone with her skate deck and a New York Yankees bomber.
The website explains, “Each one is a piece of her language, reframed for the street, the gallery or wherever you claim space.” From Moto to JC, every deck features a flipped Mowalola symbol, whether it’s her body or signature “M” logo. Of the five designs, the most bae-coded deck is the “Cheetah” laced with cheetah print and “RED,” which features Mowalola’s form. If you don’t skateboard, this collab is still for you.
