Nike's "Think Tank 4.0" Is Here - and It's Stacked With Women Changing the Game

With athletes like Sha’Carri Richardson and Chloe Kim on the roster.

Launched five years ago, Nike‘s “Think Tank” intiative has grown into one of the brand’s most influential platforms to date. What began as a space for women in sport to speak candidly and push for progress is now entering its fourth chapter– stronger, sharper and more purpose-driven than ever.

At its core, the “Think Tank” is a space where athletes can drop the filters and get real. It’s where they share honest feedback, talk about the challenges they face and dream big about the future of women’s sport. That input doesn’t just sit on a whiteboard — it’s helped spark everything from design innovations (like Nike’s Leakproof products) to deep community investment. To date, over $4.4 million USD has been directed to organizations supporting women and girls in sport.

Cohort 4.0 brings together a powerhouse lineup of athletes and changemakers. From Serena Williams and Sabrina Ionescu, to Chloe Kim and Dora Atim, alongside standout names like Sha’Carri Richardson, Sue Bird and JuJu Watkins. The full roster also includes Carson Pickett, Erin Matson, India Sardjoe, Jess Sims, Leah Williamson, Sanya Richards-Ross, Sophie Hahn and Tayla Harris. Together, they represent the bold, diverse future of women’s sport. Beyond the star power, what makes this cohort special is its purpose — amplifying voices, building community and creating real opportunities.
