Pat McGrath Labs Just Dropped a Lip Liner That Lasts All Day Long

Makeup powerhouse Pat McGrath is constantly setting the bar higher by launching a wide array of innovative products with her brand Pat McGrath Labs. Her latest launch that’s getting BeautyTok talking? The brand’s new Legendary Longwear Lip Liner. While other lip liners smudge and slip off the second your lips touch anything, this product locks in place and won’t budge until you take it off at the end of the day.
The liners activate what McGrath calls “permalock technology,” meaning once they dry down, they’ll deliver eight hours of smudge-proof, waterproof and transfer-proof wear. After trying out the pencils for myself, I can truly attest to their staying power. I ate countless meals, from noodles to pizza, and my lips barely needed a touch-up afterwards. If you really want to maximize wear time, I recommend applying the product all over your lips. That way, if your other lip products wear off, you’re still left with that gorgeous stain from the pencil. As an extra tip, McGrath recommends using a brush to blend them out for a soft blotted look.
