The Best of Olivia Nelson-Ododa's Tunnel Fits

From sporty chic to baddie, these are her best moments.

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again – the WNBA‘s Olivia Nelson-Ododa is the Queen of tunnel fits. If you’re new to the tunnel, it’s become the league’s provisional runway, giving the girls a chance to showcase personality through style. Standing at 6’5”, the Connecticut Sun forward has become a fan favorite for her effortless ability to swap her sneakers for stilettos.

As WNBA interest grows, the fits only get flyer. The key to Nelson-Ododa’s fly? Quiet confidence. Always strutting through the tunnel, she started this season with a calm trench coat fit and dropped 18 points and eight boards – in just 24 minutes.

Nelson-Ododa’s athleticism juxtaposed with her runway walk is the epitome of cool girl style. So, attempting to pin down her best fit would send our comment section into shambles. But in our opinion, her best looks this season – by far – are her all black moments.

If you’re feeling inspired, the Suns player’s style is easier to replicate than you’d think. Ditch the fashion trends and opt for what makes you feel like a baddie. For #10, serving skin is mandatory. Whether she’s wearing a cropped set or a maxi skirt, this diva keeps it sexy and mysterious. Oh and don’t forget – one accessory she can’t live without is her glasses or sunnies, so add those to emulate Nelson-Ododa’s bold flair.

On May 4, #10 arrived at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena in a coquette bustier top, a green pleated mini skirt and simple black heels. For a statement, she paired the moment with an oversized blazer and a Louis Vuitton duffel.

Another favorite fit is her dirty denim capri co-ord, accessorized with an off-centered thin black belt, black knee-high boots, sporty sunnies and her mini.

In her second game against the Washington Mystics this season, Nelson-Ododa swapped her stilettos for New Balance sneakers — and still served baddie. She styled flared statement pants with a leather bandeau top and metallic sunnies.

Although it’s hard to pin down her best fit of all time, this one’s a top five. At her game against the Las Vegas Aces, she wore a structured maxi skirt set, and continued to tap her personal favorite — serving skin. The structured set was paired with a Christian Dior purse, black platforms and chic sunnies for added drama.  sports, women, wnba, Olivia Nelson ododa, fashion, trends, tunnel fits, Connecticut sun

Ahead of the Connecticut Sun vs. Atlanta Dream game, Nelson-Ododa swapped her New Balances for knee-high boots — a staple — along with hosiery and a bra top for maximum sex appeal. Remaining true to her love of sunnies, #10 wore clear frames to match the look.
