Fans React to Sabrina Carpenter's NSFW Album Cover
Stay tuned for the album’s August 29 release.
GRAMMY Award winner Sabrina Carpenter announces her next album with cheeky cover art. To the surprise of many, her album’s cover has already divided the internet. As many Carpenters would assume, she’s already shared her witty response.
The new album, Man’s Best Friend, is slated for an August 29 release with a total of nine explicit tracks. Recently, the Disney star turned pop star shared a new single, “Manchild,” which left fans speechless. In less than a week, the single has continuously climbed Billboard‘s Top 100 chart — getting closer to Alex Warren’s viral song, “Ordinary.”
Just a few days after its release, Carpenter headlined Barcelona’s Primavera Sounds festival and gagged the internet with two new pictures. The first photo featured the Short n’ Sweet singer in a seductive pose as her hair was pulled. The second photo features a dog wearing a dog collar. The collar reads the album title, Man’s Best Friend. This has caused many to believe that the dog tag is the real cover, with the NSFW-leaning photo meant to build the hype.

The cover has sparked discourse with many still attempting to decipher which cover is the final option. However, according to Carpenter’s Instagram, the NSFW photo is absolutely the cover. According to Carpenter, the current response to the album is the least of her concerns. In a cover story interview with Rolling Stone, ”I’m living in the glory of no one hearing it or knowing about it, and so I can not care. I can not give a f-ck about it, because I’m just so excited.”

As for whether she’s single and sending subliminal messages to her ex via “Manchild,” she added, “Am I doing the single thing right now? I’m doing the 25-year-old thing right now, whatever that means.”
people not realizing that the cover is supposed to be how men see/treat women instead of humans. Hints “Man’s Best Friend”
