Alex Consani Goes Gothic in McQueen's New FW25 Campaign

Inspired by the likes of Oscar Wilde, Vesta Tilley and Romaine Brooks.

Alex Consani is the star of McQueen‘s new Fall/Winter 2025 campaign, exploring themes of freedom, self-expression and “the dynamic tension between tradition and transgression.” Taking inspiration from the likes of 19th-century trailblazers like author Oscar Wilde, singer Vesta Tilley and painter Romaine Brooks, the campaign aims to reflect the journey from restraint to release.

Lensed by Glen Luchford, the gothic new visuals capture Consani in an ethereal light, showcasing new pieces from the FW25 collection. Standouts include the Heron Lace Boot, crafted with a sheer lace upper, and the Kickback Mini Dress, arriving in a rich “Crimson” colorway.

Outside of apparel, the collection features the new T-Bar Sling Bag, Farringdon Small Bag and Knuckle Flat Pouch, along with seasonal new accessories like the silver Cocktail Choker, Sunflower Earrings and Floral Lace Tights.

“The collection was rooted in the uncompromising self-expression of independent thinkers, exploring the tension between tradition and transgression. Their spirit of progressivism feels pertinent now, inherent in modern questions of character, identity, idealism and gender,” says Seán McGirr, Creative Director, in a press release.
