We Can’t Get Over These 'And Just Like That…' Looks

As the series comes to an end, check out our favorite moments.

The Sex and the City universe has officially come to an end with the series finale of And Just Like That…

Since its 1998 release, the SATC universe has delivered fashion moments that will forever be cemented in fashion history. The series reboot has always been controversial, but one thing we can all agree on? The fashion. Oh, and that Carrie needed to leave Aidan alone.

From that controversial Dior newspaper dress to her love for Vivienne Westwood, the And Just Like That… reboot was full of references to Carrie’s closet. To start, AJLT Season 2 kicked off with Carrie wearing the wedding dress she was stood up in by Big.

In August of 2025, AJLT showrunner, Michael Patrick King, announced the show’s end. “And just like that… the ongoing storytelling of the Sex and the City universe is coming to an end. While I was writing the last episode of And Just Like That… Season 3, it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop.”

The reboot left many SATC fans divided, and frankly, left many begging for the show to end. As a result, King’s announcement left many satisfied… and reflecting on their favorite part of the franchise: fashion.

A fan commented on the finale, “Correct decision. SATC Carrie was so frustrating and fantastic. AJLT Carrie was so severe and austere, she barely cracked a smile in three seasons. I couldn’t imagine Carrie evolving the way she did in the series.”
