Nike Basketball Introduces WNBA's Caitlin Clark as Signature Athlete

And unveils her new logo.

Nike Basketball announced Caitlin Clark as its newest signature athlete. Described as one of the most watched and impactful players in the game, this new role will see Clark work alongside experts within the brand to shape the future of basketball and empower women in the next generation.

A Nike athlete since 2022, Clark is an ambassador for the game and for hoopers of all backgrounds. This expanded partnership reflects just that and a drive to get and keep women on the court. As part of the partnership, Nike and Clark are unveiling a new logo that comprises two interlocking Cs and will be showcased for the first time in a new sportswear collection. The connected letters represent Clark’s magnetic relationship with her fans, while a smaller ‘C’ tucked between the larger ones signifies how Clark’s game was built from the inside out. Speaking of the timeless design, Clark shares, “To me, this is more than just a logo, it’s a dream come true. People always talk about leaving your mark on the game — and this is another way I can do that.”

Her distinct voice and style of play are reflected in the accompanying collection, with a focus on comfort and functionality. An initial navy and yellow logo T-shirt will be released on September 1, with the rest of the collection, which includes hoodies, shorts and pants, dropping on October 1.
