This Must-See Exhibition Features an All-Female Lineup of Artists

Exploring feminine intuition with “FORM: Primal Rhythm” at Cramer St Gallery in London.

Soft lines, earthy tones and an intuitive sense of femininity define FORM: Primal Rhythm, the latest exhibition at Cramer St Gallery in London. Presented with CMJZ Arts and curated by Christina Zahra, the showcase brings together an all-female lineup of artists whose work explores instinct, connection and the natural world.

Marking the second movement in the FORM series, Primal Rhythm positions softness as something far deeper than an aesthetic. Rather, it is framed as an instinct, one rooted in the unseen exchanges of energy that tie us to one another and to the earth itself. Where the series’s first chapter explored curves and allure, this iteration delves beneath the surface, tracing origin, rhythm and organic flow.

The exhibition features works by artists including Tori Pounds, Grace Gershinson, Paola Estrella, Lauren Baker, Lydia Smith and Gaby Jonna. Guided by natural cycles, the innate intelligence of our bodies and organic growth, their practices draw from both nature and history to evoke a sense of inherited knowledge and guidance. As noted in the press release, the show evokes moments like mushrooms pushing through soil, subtle yet powerful expressions of emergence and resilience.

Spanning sculpture, painting and mixed media, FORM: Primal Rhythm invites visitors into a tactile world of layered textures and muted tones, offering space to slow down and get lost in.

FORM: Primal Rhythm opens on January 7 at Cramer St Gallery in London. Head to the website for more information.
