TRIANGL Is Continuing the 2016 Trend
Bringing back the neoprene bikini.
TRIANGL just hopped on the 2016 trend, officially bringing back neoprene swimwear. The bikinis that defined an era with hyper-saturated Instagram beach pics are now returning in an all-new, upgraded chapter. Titled “Comporta,” this collection is the second drop from the brand’s revived fabrication.
The favorite 2010s swimwear is reimagined to be lighter, more flexible and more refined, offering styles that have evolved with you over the years. The updated fabric features a smoother feel and structure to keep you comfortable, while the vibe takes an elevated approach to fit your new 2026 aesthetic. So, don’t panic, the precariously low-rise briefs from back in the day are staying in the archives.
“Our first neoprene styles had this crisp, immediate impact; you knew a TRIANGL bikini when you saw it,” shared creative director Jaynee Penny. “That simplicity and colorblocked confidence turned them into icons. That’s why women like Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner made them a moment. The new collection keeps the spirit but evolves it for how women want to wear swim now.”
Check out the campaign above, lensed by Gigi Hollanders, for a taste of the styles and head to the TRIANGL website to shop the collection. An expanded neoprene category will be rolling out throughout the year ahead, so keep an eye out.
