Mickey Mouse Has Entered the Gustaf Westman World

The Swedish designer reimagines the cartoon through playful furniture, homeware and instantly recognizable silhouettes.

Mickey Mouse is getting the Gustaf Westman treatment. The Swedish designer teamed up with Disney for a new collection inspired by Mickey & Friends, bringing his signature chunky silhouettes, playful proportions and dopamine-inducing aesthetic to a world of homeware, furniture, clothing and accessories.

Leading the first reveal is the Mickey Tumbler, a reimagining of Westman’s signature Chunky Tumbler in the character’s iconic red, yellow and black color palette, complete with two oversized black ears. Elsewhere, the Mickey Mouse Cup arrives in black ceramic, while the Mickey Mouse Sofa pushes the collaboration into statement-furniture territory with a sculptural silhouette upholstered in black leather.

Inspired by a visit to Disneyland Paris, Westman drew on the characters’ instantly recognisable shapes and colors, translating their nostalgic appeal into unexpected design objects. The result blends Disney’s sense of wonder with the designer’s distinctive approach to interiors. The campaign was also shot at Disneyland Paris, with styling by Harry Lambert, capturing that playful spirit shared by both creative worlds.

More pieces will be revealed throughout October and November, with pop-ups planned for Paris, Tokyo and New York ahead of the full collection’s global launch on November 15. This is one you cannot miss.
