Young Miko Just Made an Original Music Video for Gap's Spring 2026 Campaign
Fronting the Spring 2026 campaign with a musical touch.
Gap’s Spring 2026 campaign is here, and the heritage brand tapped Grammy-nominated artist Young Miko to be its face this season. Alongside a classic photo campaign, styled in heather grey GapSweats, the Puerto Rican rapper launched an original music video, too. Premiering “Sweats Like This” exclusively for the campaign, Gap offered Young Miko the perfect platform to showcase her talents, and she left no crumbs.
The video is soundtracked by Young Miko’s 2025 release “WASSUP,” updated to include a dance break for the heavily-choreographed video. The full-length video was directed by Bethany Vargas and shot by Olivia Malone, featuring choreography by Zoi Tatopoulos. With Young Miko and her backup dancers dressed in matching sweatsuits, the simple looks were styled by Caroline Newell alongside fashion and image consultant Alastair McKimm, reimagining GapSweats as a blank canvas for creativity.
The video is high energy, with lots of movement and flair, paired perfectly with Young Miko’s flow. Gap’s Chief Marketing Officer Fabiola Torres said, “With this campaign, we’re meeting audiences where culture is happening now through music, movement, and storytelling. Sweats like this arrives at a defining moment for Latin music — a genre that has long shaped global culture and how people dress, dance, and express themselves across generations. Music creates unity — it transcends language, sparks joy and brings people together. That shared energy is at the heart of this campaign.”
In other news, Maison Margiela tapped Max Richter for its SS26 campaign.
