ASICS and YOASOBI Unveil Their First Sneaker Collaboration

Remixing the GEL-KINETIC silhouette in three new colors.

ASICS has joined forces with popular J-pop duo YOASOBI for a special sneaker collaboration, bringing their bold aesthetic to the GEL-KINETIC FLUENT silhouette. Inspired by their song “Mou Sukoshi Dake,” or “Just a Little Step” in English, the collaborative capsule is a celebration of Japanese creativity across footwear and apparel.

The new GEL-KINETIC FLUENT Y arrives in three simple colorways. All-black and all-white versions are perfect for everyday wear, whilst a navy blue and hot pink combination was made for those that want their footwear to speak for itself. A clear, drawstring cord flows fluidly through the laces and frames the toe box, with “Just a Little Step” written on it in small, subtle lettering.

In addition to the sneakers, the ASICS x YOASOBI collection includes clothes perfect for all movement, whether that’s dancing, running or a few small steps here and there. A tracksuit comes in black, as well as a deep burgundy, with simple dual-branded logos and a small YOASOBI tag on the back collar. The rest of the collection features hoodies, socks and caps.

The ASICS x YOASOBI collection will be available to purchase starting March 19 on the ASICS website.
