Miu Miu Is Getting Intimate for FW26
The “Mindful Intimacy” collection, presented on the final day of Paris Fashion Week FW26, honors the “ownership and agency of your own body.”
Celebrating “Mindful Intimacy,” Miu Miu‘s Fall/Winter 2026 Paris Fashion Week showcase explore the human body within the vastness of the world. The collection is about an “ownership and agency of your own body, your own self and value,” shares Miuccia Prada in the show notes. “A focus on our bodies, our minds, ourselves, to which we must dedicate attention.”
The creative director transformed the grand halls of Palais d’Iéna into a grassy stage, proving her vision for the “modern girl” remains culturally dominant while still being able to “touch grass.” The runway, attended by Little Simz and Tyla, was once again a casting masterclass. The lineup included a diverse range of talent such as Gillian Anderson, Yeonjun, Kristen McMenamy, Sofia Isella and Chloë Sevigny, who returned to the brand decades after her first runway appearance.

These individuals moved through a scenography designed as a wild forest within a palazzo, a dual panorama meant to represent the immense scale of the human experience. Technical design details sat at the heart of the collection, focusing on garments that embrace the body. The material palette balanced the sweetness of cotton poplin and ribbon bows with the weight of shearling-lined tweeds and leather. Softness as a priority, these pieces don’t just sit on the skin; they hold you. For Miu Miu, it’s about the feeling of washed fabrics and a sensuality that feels lived-in.

While the clothing prioritized a poetic, emotional resonance, the footwear took a sharp pivot toward structured silhouettes. This season moved away from dainty flats in favor of pieces that anchor a stronger, more industrial aesthetic, further emblematizing the individual identity of the Miu Miu woman. These silhouettes include neutral-toned mules and new sneakers with the brand’s signature bubble soles that arrive with crystal embellishments. Elsewhere, the more rugged offering is a tall, worn boot — perfect for marching through the brand’s grassy set design.
