The Coolest DJs To Add To Your Summer Playlist

From underground crowd controllers to festival headliners.

At the forefront of electronic music’s next era is a generation of female, queer and non-binary DJs reshaping the culture with fearless sound and a distinct perspective. From underground selectors pushing experimental club cuts to festival headliners commanding global stages, these artists are proving that the future of DJ culture is diverse, boundary-breaking and undeniably cool.

Across house, techno, jungle, garage and beyond, today’s most compelling DJs are doing more than delivering standout sets. They’re building communities, redefining what club culture looks like and carving out space through their style and personality. Whether it’s genre-defying mixes or a magnetic energy behind the decks, these artists are setting the pace for what’s next.

If your playlists are due for an update, or you’re looking for the names that are set to hit your favorite festivals this summer, consider this your essential guide. Keep scrolling for the DJs you need on your radar now.

Manuka Honey

DJ Manuka Honey’s idiosyncratic sound comprises a tight catalogue of EPs, remixes and singles that will transport you through Latin-American and Caribbean dance sounds. Born Marissa Malik in the US, she later relocated to London, where she held a residency on BBC Radio 1 and Rinse FM. If she wasn’t already cool enough, Malik is also a professional astrologer.

Mellow Domingo

NYC-based DJ Mellow Domingo is known for seamlessly blending eclectic sounds, from house and Jersey club to Caribbean-inspired rhythms. A fixture across both music and fashion, they’ve soundtracked events for brands like Nike and Lanvin, while bringing an effortlessly cool sense of personal style that’s made them just as influential off the decks as on them.

Jyoty

Jyoty is known for her genre-defying sets and magnetic presence, with a track record of selling out landmark venues including London’s O2 Academy Brixton, KOKO, New York’s Knockdown Center and Amsterdam’s Paradiso. The DJ has also performed at some of the biggest festivals around the world, including Glastonbury and Coachella. Born in Amsterdam and now based in London, Jyoty has built a reputation as one of the most compelling voices in dance music, definitely one to add to your playlists.

Sara Landry

Sara Landry transforms hard dance into high-octane experiences through a divinely feminine lens. The DJ emerged from the underground in 2023 with her viral breakout Boiler Room set, which remains one of the highest-streamed Boiler Rooms of the past two years with over 10 million views. The artist has now amassed a devoted following as she continues to defy convention, all while looking incredibly stylish.

Siobhan Bell

British DJ Siobhan Bell is a force on the scene. The artist has performed for Megan The Stallion on tour and collaborated with Karl Lagerfeld, alongside being a mainstay on the East London clubbing scene. If you’ve been lucky enough to catch her spinning, we’re very jealous.

Serenda

Serenda is a London-based DJ and producer of Guyanese and Greek heritage. Rooted in house music, her sets flow between soulful beats and experimental edge, always with a powerful vision. A regular at Fabric in London and holding down a monthly Rinse FM residency, Serenda is also deeply inspired by New York. Check out her sophomore EP “Second Skin.”

Carlita

Carlita is a Turkish-Italian DJ and producer from Istanbul. A classically trained cellist and multi-instrumentalist (drums, bass and electric guitar), she experiments with a mix of live and electronic instruments in her productions, using synthesizers, sampled sounds and recordings from her travels. Her influences span everything from Turkish psychedelia to rock music, combining a kaleidoscope of sounds and cultures into a heavy electronic beat. Beyond the beats, she’s a global fixture in fashion, attending shows for Rick Owens, performing for YSL in Madrid and GCDS in Milan. With a stacked schedule of summer festivals, you may be lucky enough to catch her.

Softest Hard

The artist has collaborated with stars including Kali Uchis and most recently K-pop group LE SSERAFIM on their latest single “Celebration.” Softest Hard shares that her name explains her personality and music style, having both a soft melodic side and a tough exterior. We can’t wait to see who she collaborates with next.

Chloé Caillet

Chloé Chaillet’s distinct style sits at the intersection of music, fashion and queer culture. Caillet has quickly become a name to watch across global nightlife, with genre-fluid sets blending house, techno and Balearic influences. If you’re dying to catch a set this summer, Caillet is scheduled to perform at AVA Festival in Belfast, so don’t wait around to get your hands on a ticket.

Sky Jetta

Sky Jetta is a Detroit native known for her fluid sound rooted in electronic music. You may know her from her viral elevator music set and bold fashion sense, otherwise Jetta has also collaborated with a huge list of stars, including Charli XCX and Rico Nasty, and performed alongside Eminem and Big Sean.

Honey

Honey is a DJ making moves beyond the decks. The artist founded Club Honey Records in 2025, a female-led music label with a mission to empower the next generation of female creators across music, fashion and nightlife. Grounded in community and inclusivity, Honey is leading a new wave within the dance music world and beyond.

Eli & Fur

Eli & Fur are an electronic DJ duo, comprising Eliza Noble and Jennifer Skillman, from London. Described as “platonic soulmates,” the pair have been releasing music for over a decade now, playing huge stages like Coachella and intimate basements for the insiders. The duo is also a regular within the fashion scene, having worked with brands including YSL, Stella McCartney and Dior. Eli & Fur are now gearing up to release their newest EP on June 5, so stay tuned.
