Devon Lee Carlson Teamed Up With Frankies Bikinis For a Vintage-Inspired Capsule
Introducing new silhouettes, including the brand’s first low-rise jeans.
Devon Lee Carlson is officially adding fashion designer to her résumé. The internet’s favorite it-girl teamed up with longtime friend Francesca Aiello for “Sunshine Girls,” a new capsule collection with Frankies Bikinis that channels vintage glam through a distinctly California lens.
Years in the making, the collaboration is rooted in the duo’s shared obsession with archival fashion. Drawing inspiration directly from their personal wardrobes, the collection mixes silhouettes from the ’50s and ’70s with Y2K staples, introducing everything from Frankies’ first-ever low-rise jeans to terry cloth sweatsuits, silky slips and sequined mini dresses.
Swimwear remains at the heart of the collection, with the brand’s signature bikini styles reimagined in playful new prints inspired by Carlson’s own style. Elsewhere, eyelet and crochet details sit alongside leopard and tiger prints, delicate florals, stripes and draped jersey separates, creating a wardrobe designed to be mixed, matched and worn long after summer ends.
“We wanted to make clothes that belonged in our dream closet,” Carlson shared, describing the collection as an invitation to get dressed up with friends, experiment with styling and have fun.
The campaign reflects the pair’s longtime friendship, translating their shared love of sunshine, vintage shopping and carefree dressing into a collection that feels nostalgic and playful. The “Sunshine Girls” collection launches August 4 on the Frankies Bikinis website.
