Here Are the Best Looks From Y-3's Fall/Winter 2018 Collection
“XXL is the new medium.”
In the spirit of collaboration, Yohji Yamamoto debuted Y-3‘s Fall/Winter 2018 line at Paris‘ Grand Palais. The presentation included women’s and men’s looks that stay true to the brand’s legacy of craftsmanship and innovation. Its theme was “Nice To Meet You,” a nod to the partnership between Yamamoto and adidas.
On the runway, each look was accompanied by a corresponding outerwear piece. The jackets, puffers and pullovers varied in silhouette but all confirmed that “XXL is the new medium.” Inner and outer materials were swapped to allow a few of the reversible pieces to be worn throughout the year. The line was sporty yet sleek, solidifying Y-3’s position in the streetwear community.
