Everlane Introduces "ReNew" Jackets & Sweaters for the Winter
The sustainable brand is taking steps to eliminate its use of virgin plastic by 2021.
Everlane has debuted its new “ReNew” collection which includes women’s puffer jackets, parkas and sweaters. This line will be produced using 3 million recycled plastic bottles as a part of its new initiative. By 2021, Everlane is striving to eliminate all virgin plastic from its supply chain. Its founder and CEO Michael Preysman shares the reasoning behind this decision:
“Plastic is destroying our planet and there is only one solution: stop creating virgin plastic and renew what’s already here. Companies have to take the lead and any company that hasn’t made this commitment is actively choosing to not improve our environment.”
The “ReNew” collection is the first steps towards reaching this goal. These covers maintain their comfort while also contributing to a good cause. Above, shoppers can preview the upcoming line which will be available online and at Everlane stores on October 24.
