UPDATE: Lauren Tsai Reveals Images from Her Marc Jacobs Collab, Featuring Her Own Original Artwork

A closer look at the extensive collection of handbags and wallets.

UPDATE: Lauren Tsai has taken to Instagram Stories to reveal a sweeping range of handbags and wallets from her upcoming Marc Jacobs collaboration. Each item seems to feature her own original artwork, which carries a distinctive aura of fantasy tinged with dark sentimentality. You can browse through the entire set of first look images in the gallery below.

Having already appeared in Marc Jacobs‘ campaign earlier this summer for its first-ever touchscreen smartwatch, Terrace House alum Lauren Tsai has now unveiled that she will be launching a collaboration with the designer. Unveiled via Instagram, the artist-slash-model shares close-up teaser images of some of the pieces that we can be expecting. The first is what appears to be a white hoodie with embroidered graphics (perhaps drawn by Tsai herself?) in black and teal. A collaborative black tag is also seen with the words, “Lauren Tsai x Marc Jacobs” emblazoned across in white. The next item appears to be a zipped bag, featuring a pale yellow and pastel pink palette, as well as silver hardware.

Although details are still sparse regarding what exactly the collaborative collection will comprise of, Lauren has revealed that the offering is slated to drop on October 12. Stay tuned here as we find out more. For more fashion news, don’t miss our exclusive streetsnaps video editorial from London Fashion Week SS19.
