Milk Makeup's Pre-Spring 2019 Collection Includes Face Masks and Cooling Eye Patches
Treat yourself with these skincare must-haves.
Having already dropped a new kush lip glaze and lip balm earlier this month, Milk Makeup now returns with its latest Pre-Spring 2019 releases. Included in the arrivals are Cooling Water Eye Patches, a Watermelon Brightening Face Mask and a Matcha Detoxifying Face Mask.
As the name suggests, the Cooling Water Eye Patches ($22 USD) both sooth and hydrate the eye area thanks to its formulation of natural seawater, aloe and lavender to calm and rejuvenate under-eye skin. The beauty item also helps to de-puff the eyes with an infusion of caffeine to support microcirculation, which is great for energizing this particularly sensitive region. As for the patches themselves, they are constructed with fabric so you won’t have to worry about any slippage – they won’t slide down your face, so they’re perfect to bring with you as a travel companion.
The first of the two new face mask launches is the Watermelon Brightening option ($24 USD), which is concocted with swiss garden cress sprout extract that helps to brighten your complexion. By reducing the appearance of dark spots, a more even skin tone creates a more youthful glow. Hydration and smoothening are also key benefits of the mask – watermelon fruit extract provides immediate hydration that lasts all through the day, while vitamins C and E help combat any free radicals. The mask also includes matrixyl, which is a biomimetic peptide complex that improves elasticity and helps skin appear smoother.
Lastly, the Match Detoxifying Face Mask ($24 USD) is packed with plenty of matcha green tea, which both detoxifies and purifies pores. Kombucha and witch hazel also help diminish the appearance of pores and absorb excess oil – a key step in balancing one’s complexion for a flawless effect. Rounding off the formula is organic cactus elixir, which calms redness and also hydrates skin.
