The 15 Best New Luxury Hotels in the World Are Ranked By Experts
2018’s top destinations include the Maldives and Shanghai.
The world’s best luxury hotels that opened in 2018 are ranked in an annual report by LTI – Luxury Travel Intelligence. The list was determined by 12 experienced and discerning researchers who visited 42 hotels in 2018 and submitted their marks.
The best 15 destinations included Kudadoo Private Island, a private island resort with 15 expansive overwater ocean residences and Joali in the Maldives. History is retold with the Aman chain’s new resort in Shanghai, Amanyangyun – built using Ming and Qing dynasty-aged bricks. Those wanting more adventure can look to Shinta Mani Wild’s camping experience in Cambodia or have a tented retreat at Capella Ubud in Bali.
LTI also ranked the worst with the NoMad in Las Vegas and The Setai in Tel Aviv closing out the list.
