Photos of Nike‘s 2019 “Chinese New Year” Air Max 98 have leaked. For the holiday, Nike usually releases a pack of festive footwear for the celebration using the brightest tones.

A mix of prints and patterns are seen on the upper using Tianjin-style graphics. A pony hair and snakeskin panel lies below this feature creating a premium cover. Gold and patent leather accents are placed around the vamp of the shoe. Completing the low-top silhouette is a white midsole, gold Air Max unit, black rubber outsole and CNY jewel detail.

There is no official release date just yet for the “Chinese New Year” Air Max 98 2019, but it is expected to release sometime in February. Preview the themed pair above.
