Here's Your First Look at Nike's Chinese New Year 2019 Collection

The 12th installment of the festive line.

Earlier this month images of Nike‘s Chinese New Year 2019 Air Max 98 were shared. The full collection has finally been revealed and it includes festive colorways of the Swoosh, Jordan Brand and Converse silhouettes. Several of the pairs feature Bai Jia Yi, a Chinese patchwork technique, that adds dimension to the classic sneakers.

The geometric quilt pattern can be found on the Air Max 1, Air Max 98, Air VaporMax 2019, Chuck Taylor All Star High, Air Jordan 12, Blazer Low, Zoom Pegasus Turbo and KYRIE 5. A mix of red, pink, blue and green shades are used to etch out the 12 Chinese Zodiac symbols creating mosaic designs on the laterals of certain pairs.

Nike will be releasing the Chinese New Year 2019 collection throughout January. Enjoy a first look above and be sure to stay tuned for more information.
