Activewear Brand Alala Teams up with DJ May Kwok for a Sporty Collection

New York-based DJ May Kwok has joined forces with activewear brand Alala to create a collection of workout gear, titled the “May All Day” collection. Channelling the powerful attitude and energy of New York City as well as women, the pieces follow a cobalt blue and black color palette, reflecting a true downtown aesthetic.
Speaking on how the collaboration came together, Kwok said, ”I was leading the life of a New York City DJ and after long nights out, I decided it was time to focus on my well-being and got really into the fitness space. I became avid follower of Alala at that time and I thought – how cool would it be to collaborate with a fitness brand – at which point I basically slid into Alala‘s DM’s.” Denise Lee, Founder and CEO of the brand stated, “When May reached out to us we were super excited because we’d actually been following her for quite some time. Being that Alala is New York based and May is a born and bred New Yorker and embodies the Alala woman who is pursuing her passions all day, we felt it was a natural fit for us.”
