Take a Look Inside Virgil Abloh & Takashi Murakami's "Future History" Exhibit
London dwellers are in for a treat.
After weeks of teasing their creative process, Virgil Abloh and Takashi Murakami have finally opened the doors to their “Future History” exhibit at the Gagosian Gallery. The London space is currently filled with large-scale paintings, sculptures and installations that merge the graphics of the two. We see Murakami’s Kaikai Kiki character on a steel flower stand and large graffiti-like canvases with yellow Off-White™ branding. The glass house installation is also a sight to see. The structure is covered in black spray-paint, with the inscription “LIFE ITSELF” tagged along the side panel.
The exhibit is open to the public now until April 7. Items like a T-shirt and a tote bag are rumored to be released as exclusive merch for the exhibit but details have yet to be confirmed. Take a sneak peak above.
