For its Fall/Winter 2018 collection, Alexander McQueen drew inspiration from a “utopian evolution” with pride, joy and optimism. Experimenting with the concept of metamorphosis as “the magical transformation of femininity,” creative director Sarah Burton showcased a collection ranging from rigid tuxedos to delicate gowns – all influenced by elements of nature. Emphasizing the juxtaposition between the brands strong tailoring and elegant craftsmanship, the show featured innovative designs on a spectrum of feminity in true McQueen fashion. From bold prints to asymmetrical silhouettes, the collection captured “the world of Alexander McQueen.”
