Here's a Closer Look at Balenciaga's New Multicolored Sneakers
Another dad shoe from Demna.
Balenciaga‘s Fall/Winter 2018 presentation was all about returning to the brand’s “ethics and aesthetic.” Part of that is the current trend of “dad” sneakers, reimagining the hiking silhouette as fashion-forward.
On the Paris Fashion Week runway, several new forms of the mountain sneaker were debuted in a blue, green, yellow and orange hues. Unlike the Triple-S, these shoes were less chunky and had several overlays of mesh and leather that were each a different color. The Balenciaga tag is copied on the tongue tag and lower midsole alongside a small “BB” on the toe box. There’s no official information on the footwear yet but it is expected to release in July with the full collection.
