The Internet Is Not Happy with the Price of Fenty Beauty's New Body Lava

“I’m just going to make my direct deposits automatically go to Rihanna.”

Rihanna previously took to Instagram this week to reveal her latest Fenty Beauty products, titled the “Beach, Please!” collection. The Bad Gal showed us the upcoming Body Lava Luminizers, as well as the dreamy Fairy Bomb Glittering Pom Pom, and it is safe to say that we were sold immediately.

The star recently revealed the product’s price tags, which sparked a reaction from Rihanna fans and makeup lovers all over the world. According to Teen Vogue, the Body Lava highlighters are set to retail at $59 USD, whereas the powder puff comes in at $42 USD, which is considered expensive for body products. Users took to twitter to express their disappointment in the high price point, leaving comments like, “I’m just going to make my direct deposits automatically go to Rihanna” and funny reaction memes.

Despite the hefty price tag, Rihanna’s fans are loyal, and also responded that they’re willing to pay the price for that Bad Gal approved glow. There’s no doubt that the star’s previous products have been well worth paying for, including the game changing ProFiltr’ foundation as well as her blinding Killawatt highlighter, so the “Beach, Please!” collection will most definitely be worth it.

The four-piece capsule collection will be releasing on April 6 online at Fenty Beauty, as well as online and in-store at Sephora.
