Eytys' Mother Canvas Sneakers Arrive in "Dusty Pink"
“Mother” is inspired by Post-impressionist painter Henri Rousseau.
In celebration of Eytys‘ Mother silhouette turning five, the footwear and accessories label has released a revamped canvas design. The Spring/Summer 2018 collection features two new colorways – “Dusty Pink” and “Lemon.” Post-impressionist painter Henri Rousseau was the inspiration behind the hues which went into production.
First up is “Dusty Pink.” It arrives with its millennial pink upper and tonal lacing. This pair is influenced by Rousseau’s fascination with animals. The “Lemon” iteration calls upon the painter’s use of light yellow to create water lilies. Lastly, each pair comes with an all-white sole unit and a purple pull tab detail. Paintings like the artist’s Tiger in a Tropical Storm (Surprised!) serve as examples of his vivid use of bold colors and interpretation of landscapes filled with botanics.
