Halsey Surprises 5-Year-Old Superfan on 'Sneaker Shopping'
Meet young sneakerhead Luna Stracci.
In February, Halsey starred on Complex‘s popular Sneaker Shopping series, and the episode caught the attention of four-year-old Luna Stracci. After watching it with her dad, Luna loved seeing a girl on the show, and decided that she wanted to create her own episodes in their garage. Her dad, Joe Stracci then sent a picture to the show’s host Joe La Puma via Twitter, and it went viral. Complex decided to reach out to Luna’s dad and shoot an episode with the young sneakerhead, and Halsey ended up surprising Luna on her fifth birthday at Stadium Goods in New York City. The singer sports a bright red sweatsuit from Les Girls Les Boys, as well as the coveted Supreme x Air More Uptempo sneaker in gold.
In the episode, Luna mentions that she wants to see more girls on the show, as well as young kids like herself – all while sporting a pair of Air Jordan Spizike sneakers. Luna not only got to shoot her own episode, Halsey also let the birthday girl pick out a selection of shoes totalling more than $800 USD.
