Obsess over Chanel's Spring/Summer 2018 Sneaker Collection
Filled with PVC details.
A hard-to-miss trend this season would have to be all things PVC. Chanel has previously unveiled a lineup of see-through handbags and boots from its Spring/Summer 2018 collection. And if you simply can’t get enough, then feast your eyes on the brand’s latest sneaker offering.
While Pre-Spring 2018 was all about statement-making, bright neon colors, the SS18 range is characterized by more subdued, ocean-inspired hues. In particular, the chunky-soled low-top trainer is crafted with calfskin and patent leather panels in various shades of blue and accented by pastel yellow. The navy blue and white high-top iteration gets a futuristic makeover, with PVC hitting the toe box and side panel. Pair this style with some fancy, luxury designer socks to achieve the full effect.
Among the mix we also see three lifestyle sneakers featuring a low-top silhouette. Coming in turquoise blue, black and white, the shoes are constructed with premium leather, with some of the styles elevated with subtle, transparent details. All five runners are emblazoned with Chanel’s iconic Double C logo, of course. Take a look at the entire range by scrolling through the gallery above.
Retailing between $975 CAD and $1,350 CAD (approximately $763-1,057 USD), the collection is now available for purchase at Chanel flagships worldwide.
