Nike's Newest Cortez Sneaker Will Leave You Feeling Minty Fresh

A light-green beauty.

Nike’s Cortez silhouette is a an iconic ’70s design – in fact, you can barely think of the sneaker without immediately remembering the iconic Farah Fawcett’s iconic photograph, or Bella Hadid’s recent recreation.

In the years that have passed, the Cortez has been spotted in almost every color combination imaginable yet somehow always seems to resurface in an exciting, innovative new format. The latest version comes in a seasonal, mint green colorway that sweeps over the upper, covering everything from the tongue to the textured leather Swoosh on the sidewall. The mesh-like fabric offers comfort and breathability to the wearer and the full-length foam sole makes these sneakers ideal for those who’re on their feet all day.

White laces and embroidered text branding on the heel add a slight contrast, as does the serrated white midsole that has a flash of green through the middle. For another equally spring-ready look, check out the “Coral Stardust” Cortez.

You can shop these fresh kicks from retailers like JD Sports for £70 GBP (approx. $98 USD). Don’t forget to check out these show-stopping stacked platform Cortez’ that debuted on the COMME des GARÇONS runway during Paris Fashion Week.
