The Nike Air Huarache Huarache Ultra Makes a Long-Awaited Return
Just in time for summer.
Around this same time last year, Nike introduced the Air Huarache Huarache Ultra and it immediately became a summer sensation amongst sneakerheads. Now, as spring prepares to give way to warmer weather ahead, the return of the sneaker-sandal hybrid could not have come at a better time. Having remained relatively quiet since its initial introduction, the newly launched colorways could perhaps be marking an unexpected return for the silhouette.
Sporting a slightly simplified version of the original Huarache midsole, the sandal version features streamlined details that still exhibit clear sneaker influences. Complementing the aesthetic, the model’s signature heel strap also becomes a hallmark element in the sandal iterations. Now we see three new colorways that highlight a woven construction on the main strap across the top of the foot. The different palettes include pink/white, mustard/olive, and taupe/white versions.
Although details are still sparse regarding an exact release date for the new Air Huarache Huarache Ultra sandals, stay tuned here as we find out more.
