adidas Originals Reveals Its Brand New Falcon Silhouette

’90s-inspired.

Sportswear giant adidas has been debuting new silhouettes throughout the past few months, such as the popular Arkyn sneaker and the edgy Deerupt, and now the Three Stripes has announced the latest shoe to join the lineup. Presenting the brand new Falcon sneaker, adidas Originals has taken inspiration from its own ’90s archive, creating a fun and exciting look inspired by the classics.

Influenced by “maximalist design language of ’90s running silhouettes,” the Falcon sneaker sees a classic mesh construction combined with suede and reflective overlay panels, as well as a molded heel unit. Taking on a trend-appropriate retro aesthetic, the new shoe also sports a classic rubber midsole with contrasting accents throughout. Arriving in a women’s exclusive colorway, the sneaker takes on shades of grey, pink, black and blue, perfect for wearing all throughout the warmer seasons.

Perfect for adding to your rotation, the Falcon sneaker is right on trend with its chunky, ’90s-inspired design, joining the likes of other “dad shoe” favorites like the Balenciaga Triple-S, the Nike M2K Tekno and Acne Studios’ Manhattan sneaker, to name a few. The Falcon will see a global June 2 release, and will be available at selected adidas stores as well as online. Peep the new shoe in the gallery above, and let us know what you think about it in the comments below.
