Vault by Vans Debuts Its First Korean Collaboration With WOOYOUNGMI
The Slip-On gets a makeover.
Vault by Vans has teamed up with menswear brand WOOYOUNGMI. The two will be introducing limited-edition colorways of the classic Slip-On just in time for the summer. This collaboration marks Vault by Vans’ first Korean project so naturally they had to pull out all the stops.
Full grain leather coveres the Slip-On silhouette appearing in a royal blue and deep red. Its surface is adorned with hand-drawn paisley prints that appear on the inner soles. This detail pays homage to the bandanas skaters wore during the Dogtown era. The midsole and toe box are tagged with “WOOYOUNGMI” typography to match the brand’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection. Each pair will arrive with a custom box and shoe sleeve for preservation.
