Kat Von D's 10th Anniversary Collection Is Finally Here and It's a Golden Beauty

After teasing her forthcoming 10th Anniversary collection on Instagram earlier in March, Kat Von D‘s limited edition makeup range is finally here. Quite aptly, the tattoo artist-cum-beauty guru has tapped 10 of her muses to celebrate a decade of success for her cosmetics line. Among this collection of her greatest inspirations are her mother and sister, as well as husband Leafar Seyer.
In terms of the new products themselves, the sprawling range of goodies includes an eyeshadow palette (with 16 new shades, no less), the Metal Crush Extreme Highlighter, Studded Kiss Crème Lipstick, Everlasting Glimmer Veil Lipstick, a Tattoo Liner, a Brush Collection, a Train Case and even a signed Collection Vault to store your new Kat Von D haul. Aligned with the golden theme of the anniversary collection, all of the new products are encased in metallic gold packaging.
On the artwork seen on the eyeshadow palette case, Kat Von D explains via Instagram:
“I drew the artwork for this palette [and the matching traincase] using graphite pencils. I wanted to really push my artwork on this collection and print it as close to the original drawings as possible. The rose theme was my way of paying homage to the first ever eyeshadow palettes we launched the makeup line with 10 years ago. I named the shades after each of the 10 muses featured in the campaign. The remaining shade names in the palette are named after the behind-the-scenes people on my team that make this makeup line a reality!”
