Kim Kardashian Just Met With Donald Trump in the White House
Talking about prison reform and sentencing.
Yes, you read that right. President Donald Trump announced on Twitter that he and Kim Kardashian had met in the White House to discuss prison reform and sentencing, a cause that Kardashian has been a big advocate for in the past. Kim has been vocal about the story of Alice Marie Johnson, a non-violent drug offender who is currently serving life in prison without parole, aiming for President Trump to grant Johnson clemency. ”I would like to thank President Trump for his time this afternoon. It is our hope that the President will grant clemency to Ms. Alice Marie Johnson who is serving a life sentence for a first-time, non-violent drug offense,” she tweeted shortly after the meeting.
It remains to see if the meeting with the two will have a larger impact, but as of right now there is yet no information on Trump’s plan of action.
