Here's What Went Down at Kozue Akimoto's Second Book Launch
Released in honor of her 30th birthday.
Last week, it was revealed that Japanese model Kozue Akimoto was in the process of releasing her second book in honor of her 30th birthday. The book draws its inspiration from previous experiences in the past year with works that come from illustrators, writers and photographers. Now, the 148-page publication, titled Kozue 2017-2018, has officially launched.
As part of her photo book release, Kozue headed down to Seoul where she debuted her publication at the Dadaism Club‘s Dada.Pic Showroom. During the event, Akimoto signed select copies of the new book and previewed an exclusive badge, designed by Eri Wakiyama, that accompanied her release.
Claiming that that she found her “Seoul” while publishing the book, the front cover shows Kozue wearing a plain white T-shirt, with red-hot lipstick and her long black hair almost covering her entire face. The other images revealed in the publication are a combination of street style photos as well as some of the more traditional model-style poses as seen on the front.
