adidas Originals Unveils Its New Women's-Exclusive Silhouette – the Samba Rose

Complete with a platform sole.

adidas’ Originals Samba sneaker has a celebrated history as one of the most popular soccer shoes over the last half-century. Having launched way back in 1950, it was used predominantly for indoor soccer but like many silhouettes, evolved into a lifestyle must-have over time. It seems like perfect timing then, that the sneaker has been reimagined for a contemporary female consumer right as the 2018 World Cup approaches in June.

Dubbed the Samba Rose, this women’s-exclusive shoe retains many of the cult-favorite Samba details, however the usual material upper has been swapped out for a sleek, soft white leather. Decorative zig-zag stitching features across the clean upper, which also boasts contrasting black details on the heel panel and Three Stripe branding on the lateral side. Bringing a pop of color to the overall monochromatic shoe is adidas’ Trefoil logo that sits upon the tongue in blue. Rounding off the sneaker in an on-trend manner is a chunky platform sole in translucent gum that features textured details and adidas Originals’ logo, too.

Take a peek at the brand new ladies silhouette in the gallery above – you can pick up the adidas Originals Samba Rose at adidas.com and select Three Stripe accounts like Pam Pam from June 1. Why not pair these new kicks with adidas Originals’ faux leather fanny pack?
