The Trailer for '13 Reasons Why' Season 2 Is Here – And It Is Intense

“Hannah wasn’t the only one.”

As we approach the release of the second season of popular TV show 13 Reasons Why, Netflix has just released the trailer for the upcoming series – and it is just as gut-wrenching as you’d expect. The first season centered around a girl named Hannah Baker, who committed suicide and left a series of individual cassette tapes for 13 different classmates explaining why she did it, and why they all played a part in it. The second season picks up right where we left off, with more information being revealed regarding everyone involved – this time using polaroids as seen in the trailer. Netflix also previously stated that the new episodes would deal with the way “we raise boys up into men and the way we treat girls and women in our culture — and what we could do better in both cases,” so it remains to see what we can expect from the emotional series.

The trailer shows that the new season will focus on the other characters that we saw in the previous series, diving more into their storylines like Netflix previously teased on Twitter. Season two of 13 Reasons Why is set to arrive on Netflix on May 18, so make sure you watch the trailer above and the teaser below to get ready for the premiere.
