Nike's Air VaporMax 97 Is Riveting in a Rich, Mysterious Blue
Fall into “Metallic Dark Sea.”
Nike combined two icons with its Air VaporMax 97 – the Air Max 97 upper is treated to the Air Vapormax sole unit. It started with the “Silver Bullet” and then a “Metallic Gold” colorway. Continuing on the latter theme is a “Metallic Dark Sea” hue.
The upper is covered in a deep blue interrupted by white Swoosh branding and black accents. Laces are tonal and the women’s-exclusive silhouette is completed by a translucent Air unit and a more serious mood than we’re accustomed to.
Priced at $190 USD, “Metallic Dark Sea” was available on Sneaker Politics but have since sold out. Keep an eye out on a restock.
