Here Are Official Images of the Virgil Abloh x Air Jordan 1 "UNC"
It also seems like Australia will be getting an earlier release date.
Having already recently received word of the covetable drop’s official release date, we now see official images of the Virgil Abloh x Air Jordan 1 “UNC.” Building on the success of the Off-White™ designer’s “The Ten” collection, the forthcoming arrival also utilizes the collaboration’s hallmark cut-and-sew aesthetic.
For the “UNC,” the AJ1 is reworked in a colorway comprised of “White/Cone/Dark Powder Blue.” With the effect of being haphazardly attached, the large blue Swoosh on the side panel has the appearance of being loosely positioned with bright orange details. Complementing this aesthetic, the leather segment wrapped around the heel is also freely positioned so that the side flaps are not directly connected to the shoe. As expected, the now iconic red zip-tie tag is attached to the left shoe. Rounding off the look, the words “AIR” are emblazoned across the heel section of the cream-colored midsole.
As reported by Sneaker News, it also seems as if Australia will be getting an earlier release date. With a global release taking place on June 9, sneakerheads down under can expect a drop on May 30. The Virgil Abloh x Air Jordan “UNC” will retail at $190 USD.
