Earlier this year, it was announced that former Saint Laurent designer Hedi Slimane will replace Phoebe Philo as the new artistic, creative and image director of Céline. This came after the news in late 2017 that Philo was stepping down from her role after taking charge at the French fashion label for almost a decade. According to Business of Fashion, Slimane will debut his very first collection for the brand during Paris Fashion Week come September.
